Online Poker App from Bwin
When the iPhone was first developed, poker players had very few options to play poker and none of those options involved online poker. Then sites came along like Zynga and offered social gaming, but no real way to play for real money. That has all changed now that Bwin poker now offers their own iPhone poker app. The Bwin poker app defaults to offline mode when you launch it, allowing you to play for free either offline or via the internet. However, many people would rather play online for real money and the Bwin poker app allows for plenty of action. In order to play at a live table, all you need to do is select the type of game you want, what limits you want to play and you are immediately placed into a game. Graphics for the game are very sleek and do not slow down your Phone device. The only real downside to this game is that [...]

Google Versus Amazon
Although Google accounts for about 74% of the searches conducted every day, the trends on how users look up information suggest Amazon will get the lead over Google in coming times. Where Google shows millions of ads, Amazon provides more targeted and visual ads. Moreover, with Amazon’s integrated approach users now find no need to go to Google when looking to buy a product. Amazon is already the dominating e-tailer and this further enhances its chances of growing rapidly. However, it still has a long way to go before it can override Google but the chances of this materializing are, no doubt, bright.

Koubachi Plants Care App for iPhone
CEO Philipp Bolliger stated the need for a plant protector that would tell us when and what does our plant need. Koubachi iPhone app is aimed at guessing the needs of the plant and notifying it to the caretaker. The app works as the plant guardian. Tell the app about the plant and it automatically tracks the water level, temperature and light level of that plant. After gathering the information, the app compares the parameters with the standard. Any deviation is directly notified through email or iPhone app. The app uses Wi-Fi technology for sending data. Currently configured for 135 plants, Koubachi will soon be able to recognize more than 5000 plants.

Urgent Call for NASA’s Security Improvement
This week, NASA’ inspector, Mr. Paul Martin, presented a printed statement to the house committee saying that NASA needs capital to enhance its internet security due to the increasing threats faced. NASA was hacked many times in the last two years owing to the lack of promised investment in security sector. With a vast infrastructure spread around the globe, the network needs a high level security. NASA’s private information has been compromised a thousand times in the hands of hackers. The document highlighted the number of times NASA was attacked and how all the firewalls and other security measures were successfully breached. In total, 5,408 attacks have been made on the system. Last year alone, around 13 successful attacks were launched and hackers fully took advantage of the illegal access. Martin reiterates that NASA needs to encrypt all its laptops and upgrade its security system as soon as possible.
