Catawba County early voting sites will be open every day from October 20 through November 5 during the following times: 8:00 a.m.to 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, and 1:00 p.m.to 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Hardware and firewalls protect the voter registration system and network, the registration database has a backup on a secure offsite server and new security cameras line all board operation locations. However, it was delayed this year in some counties where election offices were closed because of Hurricane Matthew. If you are not registered to vote, you can also register and vote at the same time during early voting as long as you provide a form of identification with your name and current address such as driver's license or a utility bill in your name.

"On the last day to register to vote we had over 2500 people come to our counter in person to drop off your voter registration", said Tarrant County Assistant Election Administrator Stephen Vickers who works at the county's election headquarters.
The review process begins the day after Election Day and concludes within seven days.
