So that leaves only a few characters: Nate (Annalise's on-and-off lover), Frank (Annalise's former "hitman" who she now hates after learning he's responsible for killing her baby) and Wes (Annalise's most treasured student who she's been fighting to protect at all costs).
After all the Mahoney ruckus is done, Annalise and Frank finally face-to-face - the first one since the latter left without saying a word - in order to clear everything up once and for all.
Wes goes to the police about Annalise in episode 7 and he will also be the one to reveal to Annalise who killed her son in the next episode. Fans are hoping that this murder mystery would be revealed this next episode of "How To Get Away With Murder". Frank explains that he just did not want to involve her.
Annalise has Frank tail Lisa, but warns him not to kill her or harm her or her young daughter in any way.
In last week's episode of How to Get Away with Murder, we saw Frank (Charlie Weber) go to Laurel's (Karla Souza) house, only to overhear her telling Wes (Alfred Enoch) over the phone that she loved him. Annalise says they need to find Charles' alibi, and without actually facing him, she assigns Frank to this task.
During past episodes, we see Wes talking to the NYPD about Wallace Mahoney's death and lied to them about seeing Charles Mahoney, his half-brother and heir to the Mahoney money, at the scene of the crime.
"After Wes's lawyer finds out that Charles" lawyer has received Wes's medical records, Wes's lawyer confronts Annalise about this, accusing her of slipping those records.
Annalise and Bonnie turn to an unlikely source for help, bringing the tension among the Keating 5 to a head. He wants her to want him to live. Like any gutted person, she asks her right-hand woman to look her in the eye and tell her that it was not her who caused this. It turns out that Charles was sleeping with a longtime employee of his father's company - a woman who happens to be the same person who convinced Frank to help orchestrate the auto accident that caused Annalise's miscarriage.
Let's say Frank did end up shooting himself and Annalise wanted the house set ablaze to get rid of evidence or whatever.
However, I personally don't think it is Frank that dies in the fire. Right? Plus, I think having Frank die after going on this revengeful redemption odyssey is far too easy. His survival at least does mean that the two parties have a little bit of hope for the future in the midst of what is going to be a heck of a insane ending to the first portion of this season.
"As always with something this big, I can only say that it's rough and very sad."
