The BMW 8 Series will return in 2018 confirms BMW boss as BMW look to deliver a new 8 Series Grand Tourer to sit at the top of the range. Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires mounted on 18-inch wheels are offered on both the Track Handling and M Sport packages.
The 8 Series is expected to be built around the highly successful CLAR platform which now underpins the new 5 and 7 Series, and is expected to spawn the new X7. The variant Sunset Orange will be available as a new body colour. The standard 6.6-inch display for the iDrive 6.0 system expands to an 8.8-inch high-res touchscreen when the optional Navigation System-which includes a new and improved Voice Control function-is added. When it will arrive, it will command a significant premium over the 7 Series given its flagship status.
