Ms Constand says the calls concerned the basketball team.
This was Constand's first public appearance speaking about her alleged assault.
In the courtroom, Cosby sat looking directly at his accuser, frowning and shaking his head at times.
Gianna Constand, Andrea Constand's mother, told a Pennsylvania jury that she had a 2-1/2-hour phone conversation with Cosby after her daughter told her about the alleged 2004 assault a year after it happened.
Agrusa contended that, after poring over her phone records, Constand realized she'd placed almost 10 calls to various friends the night of March 16. "In my head, I was trying to get my hands to move or my legs to move", she said.
Calm and composed, Andrea Constand brushed off suggestions she and Cosby had a romantic relationship before the 2004 encounter at his suburban Philadelphia home.
She said she started feeling woozy after about 20 minutes, with blurred vision, slurred words and legs that felt like rubber.
He asked what he could do to help, and she said all she wanted was an apology. Where is Andrea Constand from?
This case will boil down to her testimony.
"So you knew on that first night that you were alone in his home, sitting by a fire and drinking brandy, that Mr. Cosby was interested in you in a romantic way", Agrusa said.
She provided that date during a January 18, 2005, interview with cops.
On Tuesday, Constand testified, "I was having to recall a lot of facts", adding that "it was very overwhelming".
Cross-examination will continue Wednesday morning. But phone records, he said, show the two talked 72 times that year, with 53 of those calls initiated by Constand.
Gianna Constand also critiqued Agrusa's line of questioning.
"I realised at that point he was never going to tell me what he gave me", she said.
While at least 60 women have accused Cosby of sexual assault, Constand's case is the only one that lead to criminal charges that could send Bill Cosby to prison for up to 10 years.
Cosby is charged with aggravated indecent assault.
After Constand told her mother and her mother challenged Cosby, the actor told her the same thing - "that he felt I had an orgasm" - she testified. Constand refused to yield the point, saying his conduct - touching her thigh and her trousers zipper - had been "suggestive" but not sexual.
"I felt really humiliated and I was really confused", she said after gathering herself together.
Constand, a former Temple University employee, said she had viewed Cosby as a mentor. Constand has said neither of those assertions was correct. "I wasn't able to (stop him from penetrating me)".
Prosecutors on Wednesday said phone records show a consistent pattern of Andrea Constand checking her voicemail and then calling Cosby in the two months after the January 2004 encounter. Allyn reports that the woman was subjected to a tough cross-examination by Cosby's attorney, who attempted to show that her memory was incorrect.
Miller testified that no transcript was made of the deposition itself, an agreement he struck with Johnson's lawyer because of the sensitivity of her claims.
Cosby's lawyer, Angela Agrusa, focused not on the details of the alleged assault but on other aspects of Constand's narrative, including discrepancies in several police interviews Constand gave in 2005 when she made a decision to report the crime a year later.
