SamMobile points out that this is a feature change that is slowly rolling out to Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 owners. So it's no surprise that some people may have been keen to shut the button off or use it to trigger other functions.
If you haven't disabled Bixby Voice, the voice-activated portion of the Bixby smart assistant, it'll continue to function as normal when you long-press the Bixby button. After much complaints and criticism about the button by users, Samsung has finally gotten around to resolving the issue. Do any of you now have a Galaxy S8?
The simple toggle will make it easy to turn off the feature. Are you feeling proud of bullying your users into this?
