Authorities say 59 people have died so far and another 527 have been injured after a gunman opened fire on a crowd attending a country music festival in the city.
Clark County Commission Chairman Steve Sisolak and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Sheriff Joseph Lombardo set up a GoFundMe page Monday to raise $500,000 for the victims.
Las Vegas police also provided a number for those concerned about their loved ones to call. Rep. Ruben Kihuen, a Democrat whose congressional district includes a portion of Las Vegas, visited a hospital where some of the victims were taken. "So I'd come in and do it, if I wasn't doing it already".
As for Kueffner, she said she donates for one reason.

The blood center is taking all types of blood donations, but 0-negative donations are most needed.
The Stockton and Modesto blood bank locations are open seven days a week.

Corley said Blood Centers of the Pacific, which has donation centers in Santa Rosa, Napa and San Rafael, stands ready to send blood supplies directly to Las Vegas.
But it emphasizes more is always needed when tragedy strikes.
