When was the last time you went out to socialize with people? I know, I cannot remember either. Using a computer, I get to stay in touch with almost everyone I know. Staying cooped up at home does not mean you are a recluse anymore. Instead you can be the most social person and never have to leave your house. How? I’ll tell you. Owing a smartphone was the best thing I ever did. With its unique social apps I know where the hottest party is. If you are the proud owner of a smartphone too, here are some apps to make your social life easier.

Facebook: If you still have to use the phone’s browser to open your Facebook page, you need a serious upgrade. A Facebook app that lets you log on automatically, upload pictures and videos etc., is now available for iPhone and Android. You can even reveal your location through this app and meet up with your friends in just a few minutes.

Mixologist: Looking for different cocktail drinks to jazz up your party but cannot afford a bartender? Fear not. With Mixologist you now have all the recipes you need at the click of a button. The fee for this app is just $1 which is a great bargain since it teaches you how to prepare each recipe step by step. Plain ol’ beer at my party? Not anymore.

Momento: Feeling a little old lately? Forgetting things you have to do or have done? Momento is just the app for you. It’s an app that helps your memory; take that costly brain enhancing medicine. As soon as you do something, or know that you are supposed to do something you can make notes using this app. If you tweet regularly or use other social networking sites, app converts the notes into status updates. However, if you have done something but do not want others to find out, Momento can help you keep a record of that too.

Fake-A-Text!: Been on a date where the conversation is as dull as just staring at wall? Oh yeah I have been there too. So how do you get out of boring dates, mom’s book club meeting or something equally absurd? Enter Fake-A-Text.  This app allows you to type in a fake text and send it from any name in your contact list. This way if you are at a boring party and cannot wait to leave, you can just use this app to write a fake text from your mother saying it’s an emergency. It does not matter how you use it, or why, this app is simply neat.

    I was aware of Facebook and Momento but Mixologist seems a new one to me. It’s just about $1. I just can’t let it to go like this. Thanks for sharing it. Good way to keep myself updated with the latest development taking place.

    I am really a very busy person and hardly get any time to socialize .So, I think the apps mentioned above will definitely meet my requirement. I was just looking something like this only.
