Google Maps updated for Android and iOS Browsers

Google has launched a new update to its famous Google Maps app, for both Android and iOS. The new update is focused towards providing a more rich and customized browsing experience. The focal point of this new update is making Google Maps more of a desktop app by providing consistent geographical information, which is achieved by saving and sharing your current location. It will help you in finding new places from the Google’s geographical database, which has now reached to immense proportion.
The new functionalities, brought by the recent update, allow access to “Starred Locations” and “My Maps”, previous features like satellite view, traffic conditions, bicycling etc. are still there. But now with the inclusion of new features they can be used to their full potential.
However, unlike previous version of Google Maps, now it offers clickable icons instead of static logos. We can easily click the locations and small info will pop up on our device’s small screen, this feature really helps in navigation and searching of locations.

This is really a good achievement by Google. Now the mobile not only have the fun of using Google Maps but along with it they can get knowledge about a place in a more attractive way. So, I am going to have it today only.

Cool, now we will be getting a much wider and relevant map from google on our android. I would like to see such an advancement in all the devices.
